Upon first visiting the bare site of the new Saudi Press Agency (Saudi Arabia), we knew that acoustics were
important and needed to be considered when constructing the interior space. Designing a 25 meters diameter concrete sphere that fit a 360-seat auditorium was quite a challenge. Acoustic solutions firm, 21dB, redefined the interior shape and consulted with us on the various possibilities for lighting and material finishings. After all simulations were finalised, the auditorium was rendered to show its precise form. The project was executed according to exact plans, renders and specifications we provided.
